The Box

It’s this so well designed? I love the purple box and the tissue paper inside – it’s just such a nice touch

The lid of the box is so well written, outlining Bake Box and it’s concept. It’s such a nice place to remind you of their twitter handle – I have already been tweeting @bakeclublive!

The contents

Unwrapping the tissue paper to reveal the contents, I was so pleased…

First there is a little envelope which contains the recipe cards. This is the spots and stripes box, a theme which continues across all the recipes and gadgets.

I was really shocked, below the envelope, there is so much in here:

The recipes

There are 6 recipe cards included, and all you need to add is the ingredients. On the whole the recipes are easy enough to follow, and don’t seem to need too many unusual ingredients which is a definite bonus.

My thoughts

I really like this subscription box, it really contains a lot and is so versatile. I know I’ll use mould for lots of fun cakes… and I think they’ll look really impressive, really easily. Win win 😀

I’m so excited to be able to make Swiss Roll cakes as they really are so yummy. The instructions make it look so easy… I’ll let you know when I make it later this?week!

The bundt cake mould looks very good quality and I will definitely be using it as the cake in the recipe cards uses white chocolate and looks and sounds absolutely delicious.

I also absolutely love the dress cookie cutter and will definitely be using it next time I have the NCT girls round (well, providing Toddler H decides to nap and sleep in the evenings). Don’t you think the cookies I made are so impressive?

I know they’re really?rough and ready and the icing isn’t great, but next time I’ll definitely use the packet icing, instead of mucking about with icing sugar – seriously, people they invented these packets of icing for a reason! ?(it’s what I used on my Hey Duggee cake)

How to get your own Bake Box?

Easy, subscribe here.

Boxes are sent every 2 months – which I think is?the perfect amount of time to try all the recipes and gadgets!

It’s ?14.99 for a one off box, or ?53.94 for a 6 month subscription (3 boxes), or ?107.88 for a 12 month subscription (6 boxes).

My Bake Box Review verdict…

Oh wow this looks fab! We love baking, although my baking skills aren’t really up to scratch, so something like this would be perfect as I definitely need to follow a recipe! Since I went gluten free we haven’t done much baking as it depresses me when I cant eat all the goodies, and no matter what people say, I think you can definitely tell the difference!! #TheBabyFormula
