The vitamins I don’t need to remember every day…

Multivitamins: that simple, easy, couple of seconds job we just don’t do every day, except that is for my daughter H. Every single morning since our Bassetts Vitamins arrived she asks for them without fail. She thinks they’re yummy, delicious, special. They contain natural flavours and colours, and no added sugar so I don’t feel too bad on this. H will eat a lot of things, but can be very picky on new tastes and textures. These don’t look like anything she usually eats, but she absolutely loves the taste. We’ve previously tried other brands of vitamins and it’s only the ones like these, soft and chewy pastilles that she really loves, and, as a busy mummy of two if she is going to ask me for it each morning, then that’s one thing I don’t have to think of. #mummywin

I definitely would never buy any other type of kids vitamin again, sometimes you do get what you pay for and the big brands really have something extra. Obviously I haven’t compared and contrasted the vitamins included in all competitor brands, but there certainly is a lot going for these multivitamins from Bassetts Vitamins. The fact they include Omega 3 is obviously a bonus, as I do know the cheap ones I bought did not have that. They also weren’t chewy and H has probably only ever asked for them once or twice. I can safely say, soft chewy vitamins, she pretty much requests daily. Bassetts Vitamins have included some essential vitamins which are good for a number of things, including:

  • Vitamin B6 to support normal psychological function
  • Vitamin B5 which contributes to mental performance

Now crucially as with everything kid related it doesn’t matter how good, or healthy something is, if they don’t like the taste, texture, shape, or aftertaste they will never either try it in the first place or have it again. Bassetts Vitamins Omega-3 + Multivitamins Orange Flavour Pastilles seem to have hit the nail on the head.

Bassetts Vitamins wanted us to say what we thought of the taste, so I asked H what she thought they tasted of and she said: “Orangey. Orangey, orangey, oraaaangeyyy! Yumm yummm yummmyyy!

I then asked her later on, when she was in the sort of mood to sit and draw, not run around like a whirlwind, if she could do a special challenge and draw what they tasted like, she said “I’m going to draw lots and lots and LOTS of oranges.” I think she did just that! What do you think?

My only problem is I have to sneak the Vitamin to H so that B doesn’t see as she apparently now has huge throw herself down on the floor tantrums when she doesn’t get one too.
