I didn’t have to think twice to find a photo for this week’s #MySundayPhoto… This of Toddler H holding hands with Baby B just had to be it.
I’ve been so shocked and overwhelmed by Toddler H’s love for her sister, her wish to hold her hand, to cuddle her, to hold her, to stroke her. She absolutely, totally and utterly loves her.
As a parent I really feel proud of how she’s adapted to being a big sister and no longer an only child. We’ve had some issues with Toddler H’s bedtimes and early morning wake ups since Baby B was born, but on the whole she’s taken it all in her stride. She loves sitting beside Baby B, and pressing the sounds and lights on Baby B’s toys, saying “she likes it” in such a cute living voice. She’s just adorable, they both are.
Any tips on stopping a toddler screaming (without tears!!) when they wake up? … Screaming and leg kicking without reason.

July 4, 2017 at 12:47 pmWhat a wonderful photograph. I feel for you with the waking ‘fits’ My four year old would wake in the night crying and screaming, seemingly asleep. The best thing to do is to make sure that they dont hurt themselves but without over restricting them. Anthony – Dada & Monkey
