Just a quick Merry Christmas from me!

I hope all of you, my lovely readers, have had a merry jolly yummy generous Christmas Day. A day of thinking of others, giving and surprises too.

This is the first real Christmas with little H. She was just over 3 weeks old last year, so it was a bit of a blur and she slept most of the time. However, it means she’s been a brilliant age this year. Happy, walking, smiling, shrieking, demanding our presents and helping us open them too. Well, along with claiming every present as hers, even putting ours in her stocking!

We all received the most wonderful presents. I must mention my amazing husband who bought me a sewing machine, something I did want, but didn’t think I’d be receiving. Thank you hubby, I love you!

We’ve had fabulous celebrations in Scotland and lots of granny and papa love for baby H. It is even more special as its the first time we’ve had Christmas in our family home for quite a number of years, and completed by the presence of my sister, who has worked away over Christmas for far too many years. My mum made a yummy traditional turkey dinner with all the trimmings… and mountains of pigs-in-blankets. I say mum made it all, but dad made delicious prawns in smoked salmon for starter which is my favourite. So all in all it was a scrummy dinner with my favourite people. Baby H had yummy dinner too bug had additions of melon, pepper sticks from the salad and a stolen spoon for chewing and banging… along with her brand new musical drum! (we’ve all been so lucky so I’ll be posting a present round up in the next few days!)
So now I bid you all goodnight, with a wee glass of wine to finish the day.

Have a very Merry Christmas,

Lynne xx

Sounds lovely. My son was 5 months old last year, so this year he’s definitely been able to enjoy Christmas a lot more. And next year will be even better!
