My happy week 23 – survived, blogging, friends

I’m struggling to remember this week, it’s flown by in a blur but… I SURVIVED my first night in my own with two kids!!! It was kind of two nights as hubby got home as toddler H was in bed.

There were a few other happy moments:

  1. Being involved in some blogging opportunities
  2. It’s #worldbreastfeedingweek so I’ve posted about that a few times- why I chose to breastfeed and painful breastfeeding. The first post actually received a bunch k comments from a troll, so also led to my lowest moment of the week, sitting with tears streaming reading these horrible hurtful comments and personal attacks on me. I quickly realised they were from the same IP address and so actually all one person.
  3. Sunflowers – we have one sunflower and one just starting to come out. I love how cheery they are.
  4. We also had Baby B’s 8 week immunisations something I’m fully supportive of!
  5. Plane spotting – we had a really really lovely afternoon with our NCT friends plane spotting. In reality we chatted and the little ones got excited every time a plane landed and also ran round playing their own games so sweetly.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend!

Lynne

Ooh, I do love sunflowers! I never get around to growing any with the kids though, so have to buy supermarket blooms. Don’t let the trolls get you down! #HappyDaysLinky

Try not to let trolls get you down. I hate that people feel the need to be so opinionated in a negative way. We love sunflowers but our dog eats everything that we try to grow! #HappyDaysLinky

I love sunflowers, they make me feel all summery. we’ve been growing some too and are multi-coloured seeds so looking forward to seeing what colours appear #happydayslinky

I have never had experience of trolls but I know so many people who have. Try not to let them get to you – they don’t know you, your reasons for doing anything, or even that there is a real person behind a post. They are not worth any time at all. Big hugs. xx Thank you for sharing in #HappyDaysLinky x
