The thoughts of a newbie blogger at the start of Blogging Awards season!

I’ve been blogging for 9 months, so I’m new to all the Blogging Awards and nominations… and the hype that goes with them. Well, I can say for sure I’m getting pulled in, caught in the excitement, and eager to do well. Why have I got caught up in this?… I had a Tweet from the fabulous Tayla of Motherhood: The Real Deal this afternoon telling me she’s nominated me in the Best Baby Blog category in the MAD 2016 Blog Awards. I really can’t believe it, I really, really, REALLY can’t. Tayla writes such amazing posts, unique, laugh-out-loud funny posts, so?the fact she nominated my blog out means SO much. ?Thank you Tayla! I really didn’t expect to be nominated by anyone.. But now I’m on the bandwagon, I’m hooked in, and live in hope of more nominations… please please please lovely readers, if you like my blog please nominate me?in any category you see fit – unfortunately I’ve just been informed that I don’t fit the ‘Baby’ category as only bloggers who have a baby less than 12 months old at the date of the Awards Launch qualify and will be shortlisted! 🙁 ?

This is the only year I’ll fit in the Best New Blog category (blogs have to be under 18 months), so I’d really LOVE to be nominated for this category, but?I think I also fit the Pre-School Blog categories too.? Just click the button below to nominate me (anyone can nominate, you just need an email address) 🙂
Here are the details you need if you would like to nominate me:

Tots 100 Awards

It’s also nomination time for the Brilliance in Blogging Awards

So if you really like my blog, I’d love a nomination in any of the below categories 🙂

Fresh Voice, Family or Your Favourites

BritMums? ?BritMums

You all know this isn’t really the sort of thing?I usually post… I love blogging and appreciate every single comment I’ve received, every comment saying you laughed, you agreed, you nodded, you cringed and you felt my pain. So, please nominate me if you loved my posts, my Hey Duggee birthday cake, my Tongue-Tie Nightmare?raising awareness for such an important issue in newborns, or my vaccination posts on why it’s SO important to give your baby the Childhood Vaccinations when I asked?asked why would you not have your child vaccinated??and what about when I revealed that the study which caused all that MMR controversy included only 12 children (The MMR Vaccine & Autism: 12 children is not enough)… or, even just if you laughed at my Nap Time Poem, nodded along with?5 Reasons a Newborn will make you late, or agreed whole-heartedly with?6 Things only a parent would say?or sympathised with? What being a parent REALLY means 🙂.

Thank you lovely lovely readers!

Lynne xxx

I’m loving all these nomination posts! I might have to knock one up this weekend!

Question is who have YOU nominated Lynne?! Not sure whether the done thing is to nominate yourself or someone else for the field you’re hoping for? What do you reckon?

You are definitely on my list of nominations…just need to decide who to put where xxx

That’s a very good question MMT! I have a short list…. I just need to be decisive. It’s such a hard choice, some blogs are definite it’s just which category! Going to do the MAD nominations first then get my head around the BiBs…. I’ll tweet my nominations when I’m in a decisive mood ?

It does seem that people are nominating themselves…. I’m not sure if I will or not. I have mentioned the awards to hubby (in a “OMG I’ve been nominated” kind of way) so I might let him vote for me ?

Well done for being brave and putting yourself out there. It can be really daunting. We’ve done the same this year and have written a post and everything asking for votes. I can be really difficult putting your voice out there and being heard. Good luck! #TwinklyTuesday xx

Congratulations. I’m new to the blogging world to and to social media, so it’s an uphill battle, especially when you have three within two and projects to do (my tagline, ha) http://www.projectsandparenting.com

Best of luck! I did nominate myself, but I also made a little list of blogs I really love as well and nominated them too. Even with that I ended up leaving some categories blank (best photography anyone?) as I just couldn’t think of anyone who would fit them who I genuinely enjoyed reading. I have to admit I’ve enjoyed awards season much more than I thought I would, and it’s been lovely to see all the blogger love! #BrilliantBlogPosts
