We were recently sent a Konfidence swim jacket to review and took it on holiday with us. H loved running around wearing it at home and also around the baby pool.

Konfidence Swim Jacket Review…

Choosing a jacket

The swim jacket comes in three sizes:

  • 18 month –  3 years
  • 4 – 5 years
  • 6 – 7 years

There are also 9 designs to choose from…

We chose the ladybird design and Toddler H loves running around being a ladybird!

Here is her trying it on immediately when it arrived… look at that smile!

These swim jackets are really well thought out and so safety conscious. They are made from neoprene fabric to provide warmth, comfort and a feeling of security, and the bright yellow back provides high visibility for parents – it really works, just like a high-vis jacket!

Adapting the jacket

I really think it’s such a clever, but simple design. Each of the floats are labelled and you remove them in order as needed as your little one grows.

Toddler H is 2.5 years and still had all the floats in.

I don’t have many photos of Toddler H using the swim jacket in the water unfortunately. We didn’t realise that caravan park pools, like so many normal public pools wouldn’t allow photography. We had thought we were going to get abroad before baby arrives but couldn’t go in the end, which was a shame.

Verdict

10/10

We found when we went to Menorca last year that Toddler H lost her confidence in the baby pool as waves would knock her over. She went from being in up to her shoulders on the first day to barely getting her feet covered on the last day, of our 7 day holiday! She really did get knocked and it did show grouch in her swimming lessons in the few weeks after we retuned as well. So although a he can swim and now use a woggle, if definitely recommend the swim jacket in he situation she was in, she didn’t loose any confidence wearing it and was, as a result, I’m sure even more confident on our return and in the weeks since at her swimming lessons.

Ooh these look fab! My toddler has just started going swimming and doesn’t find the arm bands comfortable. They nipped her arm when we were getting them off once and they bruised her so it’s put her off a bit. These look very comfortable and safe.

These look great, we are going on holiday to turkey in June so I’ve been looking for something like this for my toddler too. Love all the different designs too.
