This year I’m being a right meany of a mummy and sticking away from chocolate Advent calendars. I figure Toddler H doesn’t yet know that they exist and so why provide her with that knowledge until she finds out for herself. So instead we have our home decorated Hobbycraft calendar which I’ve filled with lots of Christmas activities, a few chocolate coins and a little treat present for H every once in a while. I plan to pop each activity in the night before so they are easy to achieve and we actually can carry them out. I’ve 30 Christmas activities in my list, so on some days we will have two activities and there might be a couple of activities we don’t manage this year.
So what Christmas activities do we have lined up for our Christmas Activity Advent Calendar?…

1. Read the nativity story
2. Draw ‘Christmas’ pictures to go in with the Christmas cards

December 8, 2017 at 7:49 pmThis is amazing and I kinda wish I’d read it last night as planned – been stuck in with a poorly toddler and could have pulled some of these out of the bag…instead we watched TV most of the day and got pretty bored!
There’s still time, and these ideas are well and truly PINNED!
Have a wonderful Christmas lovely xx
