This make my daughter smile, shout, “mmmmm”, and cry! She practically climbes out of her highchair (and she’s strapped in) to reach the pouch. Mummy isn’t quick enough with the spoon, mummy really can’t squeeze it any quicker, but the second that spoon is empty she is crying out for more.

I do try all the foods I give Baby H, and I must say this one is just yummy. You can smell the fruits, in fact H smells of them afterwards too!

Here’s a photo of the back of the pouch.

The fab thing about the Ella’s Pouches Is the ingredients, exactly as it says on the tin, so to speak.

I think I’ll whiz something similar up in the blender next time, maybe including strawberries too as Baby H absolutely LOVES strawberries.

What’s your little ones favourite fruit combinations?

Happy eating!

I’ve chosen this post for this week’s #BestandWorst link (run by @helsy_1983 @RunJumpScrap) as it actually covers both points:?

Best: baby H just LOVES this. Her reaction, her mmmmm’s for more and since I wrote this post, her excitement for food, makes my day. ???

Worst: it’s not homemade by mummy!?

We love Ella’s Kitchen – love the organic ingredients and nothing additional added! With my third child I got into blending fruit and veg together. She really enjoyed it! I’d add apple or pear in with carrot, potato, brocolli..whatever was going 🙂

They are fab aren’t they! I’m doing similar, but using the pouches as ideas and figuring out types of combinations that work, and which don’t!! Also using the Ella’s app which has some recipes too, if you haven’t seen it? X

It’s funny, but Hectic Grandson is partial to vegetables. He’ll eat the fruit mixtures, but if there’s a vegetable in there he sucks down the entire pouch, practically without a breath. Like you, I taste everything that the little guy eats, and honestly haven’t found anything I didn’t like. Unlike other packaging, the pouches seem to have enough flavor that they’re not bland. His current favorite is carrot, pumpkin, peach. At least all the colors blend!

That’s great he loves his veg! Baby H also loves the sweet potato, pear and pea pouch… Which is definitely a combination I’d never have thought to make myself!
I have bought a couple of other brands’ jars and really not rated them, one as quite horrible! So I’m sticking to Ella’s and homemade 🙂

Josh has tried Ellas Kitchen and loves it but I felt a bit shamed by others for giving it to him. I do also blend up stuff myself but these are great for convenience. xx

I do both, but think its good to try bought pouches to gt ideas of combinations H liked otherwise I spend age making stuff and she won’t eat it… And I’ve tried some I’ve made that sound nice and they’re really not!
