Spring Poem – Oh sunshine how we missed you

We’ve woken up to such a lovely day, I thought it warranted a poem

So, while granny took H to the park and I fed B, I wrote this…

Oh sunshine how we missed you

Oh sunshine how we missed you,

You brighten our day,

Really, you do, in every single way.

Oh sunshine how we missed you,

Spring has finally sprung,

And now what sheer delight you really have brung.

Oh sunshine how we missed you,

Little ones playing, screaming in delight,

They’ll play outside from dawn til night.

Oh sunshine how we missed you,

Our flowers will thrive,

Our smiles will now reach into our eyes.

Oh sunshine how we missed you,

Our lives felt just oh so blue,

Daffodils did cheer us, but we need you too.

Oh sunshine how we missed you,

Please just stay a while longer,

Sunshine we love you, you make us stronger. ❤️

Have a lovely day folks! X

A happy sunshiny poem! I agree, the sunshine makes me feel so much better too, we had a little bit today but it’s gone again 🙁 #Coolmumclub
