What made mummy happy? #4

This is my fourth week joining the #HappyDays linky by Katy from What Katy Said and Sian from Quite Frankly She Said. I’ll aim to do this quick list each week of the things that have made me happy, keep track of time flying by and what we’ve been up to.

So onto this week…

1. BML16

It was an amazing experience, fabulous to meet so many blogging friends and all bit one of my can’t wait to meet list. I did feel very nervous at times on the way there, but was mostly fine once it was all happening. It was inspiring, although I was a bit let down by some sessions which I thought would have more of an aim and be more helpful, instead of just being discussions on stage. I do wish I’d done the Pinterest session now.

2. Friends

I think this’ll feature every week, but don’t they say friends are the family you choose? Well I LOVE my family, and good friends make them being so far away easier.

3. Sunday lazy days

It’s nice just having one day a week where we don’t have plans and mosey about ourselves, taking H for a walk, the play park and a wander to the shop for nice olive bread for lunch, and a yummy roast for dinner ?

4. Dinner with friends

It’s nice to have time out, something I don’t often get as a SAHM. In saying that twice in one week is unheard of!! Anyway we had a good chat, filled our tummies and I look forward to catching up with the little ones for a play date soon.

5. Hubby

Yes, this is true, he and H had a lovely day together on Saturday while I went to BML16. She’s such a daddy’s girl at weekends suddenly and I love it! She asked for him so much on Monday, then again yesterday. She was in such a grump yesterday, but did take to ‘drawing daddy’ which was very cute! I think she was definitely aware it should be the weekend soon!

6. Coffee

I have been shattered since BML with such an early start and crazy journey home, including the train being ending at Swindon, and National Rail taxi-ing us the rest if the way home! But coffee definitely helped!!
How was your week?

Lovely to meet you at BML but so with you on the sessions! Also I was exhausted too. Took me a couple of days to get over it! I bet it’s lovely seeing your little one with Daddy! So cute 🙂 xx #happydays

I felt let down by the sessions too, I think lots felt the same. It was more like a social gathering, which although is lovely isn’t what I paid for. Yum to the roast dinner!! Thank you for sharing in our #HappyDaysLinky x
